I wrote this track around christmas time last year. It has a very strong meaning. I wrote it as an onlooker, looking at a situation from a distance. This song is in the style of a Folk/Pop/Blues track.

In this world we live, and in this world we leave, its what we've left behind, that still lays in their heart.

Verse:
Oh senses burnt by the chill of a winters day, a weeping river of black and white flows the roads it leaves your fingertips numb, and mind frozen.

Verse:
The car heaters are blowing warm air to liven her face, but still she remains, but she still remains, deadly silent, tonight.

Chorus:
And oh don't you remember, oh what you could see, oh what you could see
And oh don't you remember, oh what you could see, from my shoes.

Verse:
The frosted puddle to the left, leaves a crumbled reflection staring back at it glistening like the tears on her face. And they through back mirrored memories that will lay with her for the rest of her days.

And absent silent as my ears are numb for sound, like the autumn leaves that are crumbling, oh they're crackling like the skin on her hands.

Chorus:

And as I walk these streets so long and hard my feet are pounding like an old metal metronome. I'm staggering, stuttering windmilling, falling down.

And When your loosing your place, and getting lost by the overwhelming world, moving so fast around you oh oh.

Verse:
It's seems so fast that everything would seem a blur at first but this motion can't be, but this motion cant be explained but experienced.

Verse:
It's like a roundabout, its spinning you round and around, this is a reality not an excepted normality.
